Hi there! Mary Engelbreit is one of my favorites. I like her artwork and I have this photo in my calendar book.
About the recycling, we do the same exact thing as you. We have a recycle program. Some folks will turn the bottles and cans for money but the majority simply puts the cans and bottles in the recycle bin. ;-)
